On 24th July 2018, Google AdWords became Google Ads. This is basically a move away from Google advertising being centred on keyword based search ads, to be more inclusive of all campaign types including Search, Display and Video.

The login page for your Google advertising account is now ads.google.co.uk (rather than adwords.google.co.uk) and the logo has changed (as above). Besides moving across to the revamped new interface, the campaign performance, navigation and reporting remains unchanged.

So, it’s time to start getting used to saying Google Ads rather than AdWords. Any questions regarding Google Ads, or if you’d like a second opinion on your account, please feel free to contact us on info@searchscientist.co.uk.
