Louise McCartan – Managing Director & Strategist
Louise lives and breathes digital advertising and has particular interest in user experience. Before founding Search Scientist Louise worked for Google as an AdWords strategist, trainer and optimisation specialist for over three years since 2006. She was also involved with the Google UX team, particularly in the development of AdWords Editor and the live interface. She’s also worked as a Marketing Manager, Market Researcher and has a 1st class Masters in Consumer Psychology Research. Find out more about Louise →
Alisa Burns – Digital Account Manager
Like Louise, Alisa is a former Googler. She excels when it comes to data analysis and strategy planning. Her previous roles as a Google AdWords Strategist, Paid Advertising Specialist and Consultant have given her experience working with many types of businesses and industries. Although she is mainly specialised in PPC, Alisa has experience building and working with paid social. She can offer multi-channel guidance and analysis to push your advertising budget further.
Eoin Cleland – Office Manager
Eoin has the responsibility of managing office accounts and providing tech support, making sure all runs smoothly in Search Scientist HQ. He’s also our in-house photographer and videographer. He has a well rounded background including a Masters in Business, a Bachelors in Computer Science and a career in TV and Film Writing, Filming and Directing. Kathryn Gaw – Finance / Journalistic Copywriter
Kathryn works with Search Scientist when clients need specialist finance / journalistic copywriting. Her past experience includes Finance Editor at the Press Association, writing for the Financial Times and The Guardian, as well as Editor of business mags Mena Fund Manager and Mena Insurance Review. She is NCTJ-qualified and an active member of the NUJ, and holds a BAHons in English and an MA in Contemporary History and Politics.
Ted – Search Scientist Mascot
Ted has been with us from day one of Search Scientist, but led quite the life before then. Starting out as a lab technician, Ted always had a curiosity for science. His eyes wandered into the field of time travel, in which he invented his own machine! He travelled through time and saw that Digital Marketing was the future. He sought out the best talent to team up with and continues to happily be part of the Search Scientist team.
