After four years in the making, Google has made a surprising u-turn and backtracked on their plan to deprecate Chrome third party cookies this year.
Just announced this week, Google says it will instead give users an “informed choice that applies across their web browsing”. Next steps are being discussed and to be announced in due course. We’ve heard from our Google Account Manager that they are jumping into an intensive two day training on this right now. For now, we can carry on as is. Watch this space.
