Well Done Louise!
Last Friday, three of the Search Scientist team donned their best suits and frocks and made their way to the fourth annual DANI Awards to support our founder and MD, Louise McCartan in the Digital Industries Person of the Year category. This also gave us a chance to let our hair down and celebrate the best talent in Northern Ireland’s digital industry.
The tone for the night was set as soon we arrived at St. Columb’s Hall, Derry. Everyone looking stunning! We all posed for a few snaps, before making our way to the drinks reception where we were greeted by a mime artist and entertained by a local magician. Straight away, we knew this was going to be a relaxed and thoroughly enjoyable evening.
It was great to see so many faces and personalities from the industry getting together and having a great night. After dinner, the awards got under way. The host on the night was actor and writer David Schneider, who did a fantastic job of entertaining the crowd, and posing for the occasional selfie at the end of the evening!
The Digital Industries Person of the Year award was the final award of the evening and we were both excited and nervous as the winner was announced.
Louise’s hard work, determination and commitment throughout the year was recognised. We were delighted to round off a great evening and leave with the Digital Person of the Year commended trophy! We’ve no doubt we’ll be back at the DANI awards again.
