Introducing: Matt Shanks, Online Marketing Consultant
Hello there! I’ve just joined Louise as the first Search Scientist employee. Exciting times!
About Me
I started my own online business selling surf and skate clothing in 2007, which led to working with Target Dry as their E-Commerce Manager. I optimised two Shopify stores and an Amazon Merchant channel, as well as running a successful AdWords Account. I started working for Search Scientist at the start of July 2013. 
AdWords Qualified & Shopify Certified
So I’m a fan of data. There’s no shame in that. It makes my job easier when I can test ad copy and try keyword variations… I’m also an Adwords Qualified Individual, and am registered on the Shopify Experts Directory.
But my work life doesn’t make me an algorithm-loving recluse… Oh no. I race motocross bikes, mountain bike and snowboard to bring a smile to my face, so I think that more than makes up for the geekery.
What does this mean for you?
Louise has been working hard to build Search Scientist, and I’m here to help grow things further at HQ. All of the lovely feedback from happy clients is there to prove it! All the accounts that she has had so much success in will continue to receive her expert touch.
Being a part of the growth of this progressive company excites me. I’m here to contribute new skills, and to get the best results possible for the clients I’ll be working with.
