Bing Ads: Increased Marketshare & Improved Features

As Bing Ads play catch up, more closely matching Google Ads functionality and quick to mimic feature releases, it’s becoming a more worthwhile platform for advertisers. As of January 2019, Microsoft’s Bing Ads are the exclusive search advertiisng platform for Verizon’s Media propeties, including Yahoo and AOL. As such, their marketshare is increasing. This expansion is suggested to increase Bing ads traffic by 10 – 15% in the USA and combined UK marketshare is estimated at approximately 9%.
Lower Cost Per Click Add-On Traffic
Many of our clients receive the majority of their pay per click traffic through Google Ads but find Bing Ads a useful additional traffic source. Thus, where you find you’d like to further increase your pay per click traffic beyond Google Ads, we’d recommend looking to Bing Ads. Often you’ll find that competition is lower on Bing and cost per click can be lower than Google Ads.
