Bing Ads: Increased Marketshare & Improved Features

Search Scientist, in addition to being a Google AdWords Partner, is also a Bing Ads Partner. As Bing Ads play catch up, more closely matching AdWords functionality and quick to mimic AdWords feature releases, it’s becoming a more worthwhile platform for advertisers. Their marketshare is gradually increasing – and is made up of Bing, Yahoo Search (searches powered by Bing) and AOL Search Network in the UK. The Bing Ad Network now makes up 977 million PC searches in the UK, contributing to 26% of the UK search (PC) market share.

Lower Cost Per Click Add-On Traffic

Many of our clients receive the majority of their pay per click traffic through AdWords but find Bing Ads a useful additional traffic source. Thus, where you find you’d like to further increase your pay per click traffic beyond AdWords, we’d recommend looking to Bing Ads. Often you’ll find that competition is lower on Bing and cost per click can be lower than AdWords. You can find out more about Bing Ads compared to AdWords in a recent Search Scientist blog post here.
